New outreach video launched!

At the start of 2026, we are proud and excited to launch a brand-new video that brings our Tackle LIFE programme to life and showcases the powerful impact it continues to have on young people across Bedfordshire.

Tackle LIFE sits at the heart of our outreach work. It is an early-intervention programme designed to support young people who are disengaged from education or facing challenges that can limit their future opportunities. By using rugby as a positive hook, we connect with participants in a way that feels relevant, inclusive and inspiring. The programme is built around the sport’s core values — teamwork, respect, discipline and resilience — and uses these to develop essential life skills that young people can take forward into education, employment and everyday life.

Delivered in partnership with schools, colleges and community organisations, Tackle LIFE combines mentoring, workshops and physical activity. Sessions focus on employability, emotional wellbeing and positive decision-making, helping young people build confidence, improve communication skills and recognise their own potential. We also support participants to work towards accredited outcomes, creating clear and achievable progression pathways.

Our new video captures the real stories behind Tackle LIFE. Featuring young people, staff and partners, it highlights the difference the programme makes day-to-day — from re-engaging learners to boosting self-belief and aspiration. As we begin 2026, we’re thrilled to share this film and celebrate the young people at the centre of everything we do, while continuing our commitment to creating positive change through the power of sport.
