Over £20,000 Raised at Bedford Blues Foundation Charity Ball
The Bedford Blues Foundation is delighted to announce that our annual Charity Ball has raised over £20,000 to support the Foundation’s vital community programmes across Bedfordshire.
Held at the CMC Marquee at Goldington Road, the glamorous evening brought together supporters, local businesses, and rugby fans for a night of fundraising, entertainment, and celebration. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, live music, and both live and silent auctions featuring exclusive prizes donated by local partners and national brands.
The funds raised will go directly towards the Bedford Blues Foundation’s ongoing work to inspire positive change through sport, education, and community engagement, supporting projects that improve physical and mental wellbeing, create inclusive opportunities, and empower young people across the region.
Head of Foundation, Tom Harwood, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled by the generosity shown by everyone who attended the Charity Ball. Raising over £20,000 is an incredible achievement and will make a real difference to the lives of people in our community. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all our sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made the evening such a success.”
The Bedford Blues Foundation continues to build on its mission of using the power of rugby and sport to connect, engage, and inspire. Upcoming initiatives include expanding its schools programme, supporting disadvantaged young people through mentoring schemes, and delivering accessible sport sessions for individuals with additional needs.
