Schools night launched for Friday 14th November!
Bedford Blues Foundation is delighted to announce the return of our popular Schools Night, taking place at Goldington Road on Friday 14th November, when Bedford Blues take on Caldy in an exciting Championship clash.
This special evening celebrates our partnership with local schools and gives young people from across Bedfordshire a chance to experience live rugby in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
What’s involved:
Pupils will enjoy an unforgettable experience including fun rugby-based activities, the opportunity to meet Bedford Blues players, and the chance to line the pitch as the Guard of Honour when the teams run out for kick-off. It’s a fantastic way to introduce children to the sport, build teamwork and confidence, and celebrate the strong community spirit that makes Bedford Blues such a proud part of our town.
Who can come:
This year’s event is specifically for Key Stage 2 pupils from primary schools across Bedfordshire. Each school is asked to bring two members of staff to accompany their group, ensuring all children are supported throughout the evening.
The Foundation’s mission is to inspire, engage and educate young people through sport. By opening our doors on Schools Night, we aim to create memories that will last a lifetime and encourage the next generation of players and supporters. Last year’s event welcomed hundreds of young fans and this year promises to be even bigger and better.
We are encouraging schools to register early to secure their places. Group booking forms and full details on ticket prices have been sent to schools, and our Foundation team is on hand to answer any questions.
