Blues Banger Rally 2027 launched

Get ready for The Italian Job: 8 countries, 1,000 miles and one unforgettable adventure

The Blues Banger Rally returns in 2027, and we’re swapping the Pyrenees for the spectacular roads of the Alps, finishing on the shores of Lake Como.

Starting at Goldington Road on Wednesday 23 June, teams will take on a four-day European adventure through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Italy, all while raising vital funds to support young people across Bedfordshire through Blues Foundation.

From the stunning Black Forest and Swiss Alps to the legendary Stelvio Pass, this is a road trip packed with incredible scenery, winding mountain roads and, inevitably, a few questionable cars!

And speaking of cars…

Your team needs to find a roadworthy banger costing no more than £1,500. You can have up to four people per car, so grab your mates, find your motor and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime.

But this isn't just about the driving.

Each car will be challenged to raise or donate a minimum of £9,000 for Blues Foundation, helping us continue our work supporting young people across Bedfordshire.

With accommodation, meals, Eurotunnel crossing and mechanic support included, all that's left is to get your banger ready and hit the road.

The destination? Lake Como.

8 countries. 4 days. 1,000 miles. 1 incredible cause.

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, entries close 30 September 2026, so grab your mates, find your banger and start fundraising!
